These terms describe use of the public SKC Weather website and weather tools. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

Weather information

SKC Weather provides informational forecast guidance and radar displays, not official warnings or individualized advice. Model output, probabilities and radar estimates can be wrong, incomplete or delayed. Check timestamps and consult official forecasts and alerts. Do not use this site as your sole source for emergency, aviation, marine or other safety-critical decisions.

Availability and responsible use

The site and its information are provided as available, without a guarantee of accuracy, uninterrupted access or fitness for a particular purpose. Features and data availability may change. Do not interfere with the service, bypass access restrictions or make automated requests that disrupt access for others.

Sources and reuse

Underlying weather data, map layers and software remain subject to their respective source terms. See About and data attribution and the credits shown in each viewer. A source’s open-data license does not automatically grant rights to every map layer or other site asset. Preserve required attribution when reusing material and contact us if you are unsure about permission.

Membership

Free accounts require email confirmation and no payment. Keep your password private and use an email address you control. Premium subscriptions are available through our membership page. Existing accounts and independent valid complimentary access remain available under their current access terms.

Premium subscriptions

Advertised subscription prices are $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year, including applicable tax. You may choose to pay in a local currency at checkout. Stripe’s exchange rate includes a 2–4% conversion fee. You can choose USD instead. Review the displayed converted total and exchange rate before subscribing. Applicable tax will not be added above the advertised base prices. The selected plan renews automatically until canceled. Checkout availability depends on supported customer locations and the payment provider’s restrictions. Review the final amount and transaction disclosures before paying.

Payments are sold through Link, Stripe’s merchant-of-record service. Link provides transaction receipts, invoices and payment support, and your statement may identify Link. SKCWeather provides account, membership and weather-product support.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel anytime to stop automatic renewal. Without a refund, Premium continues through the end of the period you have already paid for.

We accept requests for a full refund of your first Premium purchase when your request is received within 14 days of the initial payment, for either a monthly or annual plan. Email skcweather@gmail.com to request a refund. Cancellation alone does not request a refund. Do not send your password or card details.

After Stripe confirms a successful full refund and SKCWeather processes that confirmation, the paid access associated with the refunded period ends and its renewals stop. A full annual refund ends access from that annual payment; it does not retain the remaining year. Your Free account, any independent complimentary grant and any other valid paid access remain available.

A pending or failed refund does not shorten paid access. Partial refunds require manual review. We do not routinely refund renewal payments or prorate unused time. Exceptions apply for billing errors and where applicable law requires a refund or other remedy. Stripe/Link may also issue refunds under its transaction-support rules; any confirmed successful full refund ends only the corresponding paid access as described above. These terms do not limit your applicable legal rights.
